The present study was undertaken with an aim to formulate develop and evaluate Trimetazidine HCL extended release matrix tablets using different polymers as retarding agent. Pre formulation done initially results directed for the further course of formulation. Based on studies batches were prepared selected excipients. Powders evaluated tests Angle repose, Bulk density, tapped compressibility index, Hausner ratio before being punched tablets. It concluded that batch F9 had considerable swelling behaviors in vitro drug release. Percentage 8 hr is 80.77. observed followed Huguchi profiles. From discussion it Extended tablet containing HPMC K-15 (19.44%) Hyper mellose (19.44%), Ethyl cellulose can be taken ideal or optimized hour fulfills requirements tablet.
